What can I talk about? Almost anything of concern—including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, stress, grief, or personal growth.
What is the first session like? It involves an intake process where you share your story, discuss your goals, and get to know the counselor, lasting about 50 minutes to an hour.
How do I choose a therapist? Look for someone with whom you feel comfortable and safe. Many offer free 15-minute consultations to ensure a good fit.
How often will I attend therapy?Weekly visits for the first three months are highly recommended, although this can be adjusted based on needs.
How long does therapy take? There is no fixed timeline; it depends on the complexity of the issues, but some people find relief in just one or two sessions, while others require longer.
Can I get counseling online? Yes, Revive Counseling and Wellness PLLC offers teletherapy via secure video conferencing.
What if I can’t make an appointment? Cancellations are required at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees.
Is my information private? Yes. Information cannot be shared without your written permission.
What are the exceptions to confidentiality? Legal and ethical exceptions include if you are an immediate danger to yourself or others, or in cases of suspected abuse of children, elders, or disabled individuals.
What if I am not comfortable with my counselor? You can change your counselor; it is helpful to discuss your discomfort with them first, but you have the right to request a new one.
How much does it cost? Seesions are prices for 45 or 60 minute sessions.
Do you accept insurance? Revive Counseling and Wellness PLLC does not accept insurance at this time.
